Trustus rose up like some sort of slop-poppy monster from the ashes of Campaign Finance Reform, a one-man 4-track project by Ouellette with a really unpopular name. Ouellette fronted an all girl version of the band, internal tensions led to some lineup changes, leaving Catherine O’Brien (wife of "The Chris") while adding Tyler Pollard on drums. An album was made. Then, much to the dismay of several, Trustus broke up when the bass player, Catherine, moved to London.
