Robyn

Swedish popstar Robyn has one of the most unique timelines Tyler has heard so far. She grew up on the road with parents in an experimental theatre troupe. With an early education in American pop from Madonna, Michael Jackson and Prince, Robyn also blended 90’s hip hop like Wu Tang Clan and Neneh Cherry to create her unique brand of electro-pop. Robyn first broke the US pop charts in 1997 with “Show Me Love”.

Armed in 2008 with a more personal sound, and the loyal support of one Perez Hilton, Robyn is ready with her self-titled release on her own label Konichiwa Records. Shortly after sitting down with Plus1TV, Robyn was chosen by Madonna to open the European leg of her new tour; answering the lingering question: who’s that girl?
